JSD is proud to have provided professional planning and civil engineering services to Erin Hills for the upcoming “U.S. Open Golf Tournament June 12th through June 18th, 2017, at Erin Hills Golf Course in Erin, Wisconsin”. Erin Hills was chosen by the USGA as the site for the 2017 U.S. Open Golf Championship and was chosen for the 2011 U.S. Amateur Championship.
JSD has provided planning, civil engineering, surveying, and landscape architectural services for capital improvements and site amenities for Erin Hills Golf Course since 2009. This was an exciting project for JSD to be a part of. The golf course, which is about 35 miles northwest of Milwaukee, includes: a world class 360-degree practice facility; landscape pond/scrape enhancements for hole no. 14; improvements to the overall cart path/main spine system; a new maintenance facility; existing clubhouse roadway, path circulation, and parking lot improvements; a proposed village including new manor house, cottages and infrastructure; a new entrance drive; and improvements to the County Highway O intersection. JSD is a proud supporter of the US Open next week, and below are some photos of the Erin Hills Golf Course.
