With nearly 100 name brand stores, Premium Outlets is one of the largest outlet centers in the State of Wisconsin and has been a top tourist attraction in Kenosha County, Wisconsin for over 25 years. Beginning with its inception in 1990, JSD staff, while working at other firms, provided professional services that included: surveying, mapping and platting; grading, paving and drainage plans; stormwater management; utility design; construction coordination and staking; and permitting and approvals. The project was also noted as one of the best retail projects in the nation after its initial phases.

JSD completed engineering design services in 2005 to Premium Outlets for its fifth expansion of the mall. The expansion consisted of more than 30 new stores and a central food court with restaurants and informational areas. In 2007 JSD completed due diligence and preliminary design work for Phase VI. Unfortunately, due to economic conditions at the time, Phase VI was not constructed.
