Erin Hills Golf Course

Location: Hartford, Wisconsin

JSD provided professional civil engineering, surveying, and landscape architectural services for capitol improvements and site amenities for the Erin Hills Golf Course in Hartford, Wisconsin. Erin Hills has been chosen as the site for the 2017 U.S. Open Golf Championship.

The United States Golf Association (USGA) announced June 16, 2010, that Erin Hills (located in the Town of Erin in Washington County, about 35 miles northwest of Milwaukee) is to be the site of the 2017 U.S. Open.  Erin Hills was also chosen as the site for the 2011 U.S. Amateur Championship.

The golf course includes: a world class 360-degree practice facility; landscape pond/scrape enhancements for hole no. 14; improvements to the overall cart path/main spine system; a new maintenance facility; existing clubhouse roadway, path circulation, and parking lot improvements; a proposed village including new manor house, cottages and infrastructure; a new entrance drive and improvements to the County Highway O intersection.
